Maria Centola was born in Moscow, Russia, where she studied piano at the Gnessin’s Academy of Music and Moscow Conservatory. She moved to the United States to complete her graduate studies at the Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford under the guidance of maestro Luiz de Moura Castro and Oksana Yablonskaya at the Juilliard School of Music. She often appears in international festivals and concerts throughout Russia, the US, Italy, Spain and Canary Islands.
Brilliant accordionist, Markus Centola, performs a wide range of repertoire from classical to modern, tango and folk music and has traveled to share his love of music throughout the United States, Russia, and Italy. Mr. Centola has received his BM and MM from the Hartt School of Music in Music Theory with an emphasis in Piano. Mr. Centola is currently an active performer and instructor of accordion, piano, and violin.
Jessica Meyer, violinist, has performed solo and chamber music throughout the United States, Central, and South America. Highlights of Ms. Meyer’s career include performing with the Musica Las Marinas ensemble in Angara dos Reis, Brazil, collaborating with the Orquesta Sinfonica de la Toluca, in Toluca Mexico, and soloing with a chamber orchestra at the Hartt School of Music. Currently an active performer and teacher in the Hartford area, Ms. Meyer performs with the Springfield, Hartford and New Haven Symphony Orchestras and teaches at The Hartt School Suzuki Program. Ms. Meyer received her MM at the University of Hartford in violin performance with an emphasis on Suzuki Pedagogy and her BM from Texas Christian University.
A Native of Long Island, New York, Sean Rubin began his studies on the double bass at the age of 16. His musical activities have taken him to perform with many different groups in many different genres. Sean has performed in the All State String Orchestra, The Metropolitan Youth Orchestra's Principal Orchestra, the South Shore Symphony, as well as many other festivals and events in the New York Metropolitan Area. In addition to his classical studies, Sean is also a bass guitarrist and singer with the rock band Three by Five, performs tango music with the group Infinitango and is also an electronic music composer. Sean studies with Robert Black at The Hartt School of Music in West Hartford, Connecticut, where he pursues a Bachelors of Music degree.
